Re: “The campaign for Amendments 60 and 61 and Prop 101 sounds bad, but it may just work

The schools have a lack of funds NOT because there ARE a lack of funds, it's because they receive tons of money yet it's always diverted somewhere else when someone (big biz, political lap dogs, etc) wants to initiate something that benefits the WEALTHY districts, businesses, people, and neighborhoods. The school system is a straw-buyer for politicians! The same goes for the police, firefighters, libraries, and other services used by the average everyday joe. They scare people into leaving the schools money alone or giving them more, and as soon as they get it the politicians take it and use it for something else!

Teachers, librarians, police, etc... YOU need to speak out and ACT against this practice and protect YOURSELVES and your piece of the pie from politicians! Someone needs to force government to spend responsibly and not attempt to make up for their self-induced budget shortfalls by asking for (or just taking) more money, where does it end??. Giving them more won't cure the problem, history shows it only exacerbates it. No matter how much money they get the schools and other services will ALWAYS fall short because their funds will ALWAYS be diverted. Until some underlying practices and more significant changes in the way the pie is allowed to be split after it's baked, that fact will remain that way. In the meantime... I want to be able to use MY money for me. It's my time to flourish financially, screw the government!

You don't have to vote the same for all three measures. Each has merit on it's own and there is actually some overlap between them and the related laws that are already in place to deal with the issues they pertain to.
