A lot different from the last time I went in there. New owner's, larger dispensing area. Meds are still good. The last time I believe I picked up some Bruce Banner and a concentrate. The cute little bubbly brunette's attitude made my visit even nicer. Felicia, I think her name is ; )

This place has gone DOWNHILL and hit bottom! The last few times I have been there, the pulled pork was so dry that it crunched between my teeth! The last straw was my last visit, when I bit into a spoonful of frozen potato salad.
When I returned it, I was told that I should have brought it back sooner. Sooner? By the time I brought it back, the potato salad had melted and was a drippy mess.
ou are correct, Howard would have NEVER served anyone food like that, and I think he would not want to have his good name even associated with Kasey's. I happen to know Mr. Smith, and he is an hones and upstanding man, and NEVER in the last 20 years that he was in business did I ever get served bad food.
I anticipated that they wouldn't accept responsibility, so I will be posting a video where you can clearly hear the 'crunch' of the frozen potato salad.
I'm excited to look through this edition
I haven't done any recent detailed Reviews but after vising Rocky Mountain Miracles yesterday I decided to tell ya what I think...
I'd like to preface the rest of this review with 'Don't let the looks fool ya'- I say that because I have passed by RMM dozens of times and never thought to stop and shop. I'm a pretty particular patient consumer and have an established caregiver.
With that said, when I walked in RMM yesterday I was pleasantly surprised.
I'd like to point out a few, what I consider 'strengths' to start with:
-Family Owned and ran
-Large Variety of buds and edibles
-Good vibe in the plaec ; )
-One shelf-pricing (love it)
-Large, open dispensing area
In addition I'd like to add that Shelly, one of three sisters that run RMM, spent lots of time with me and made me feel very comfortable. I would give them a 4 1/2 because their meds seemed to have good potency and the place had a great feel.
It's been my experience after many reviews and visits to different dispensaries that it doesn't take long to see who makes GOOD PATIENT CARE a priority and who doesn't. I'm jus sayin...
The biggest and only negative I could see was the harshness and lack of taste in their meds. I smoked and vap'd three different strains: OG Kush, Black Cherry, and Chocolope. OGK and Chocolope are always good, a couple of my favs. They all vap'd pretty good, not so much in my glass piece. They hit harsh in my bowl and had that nasty 'nose hair burn'.... More flushing perhaps? As far as the taste, well that's just a personal preference..... like I said, they all vap'd good.
So far so good. 'Like' 'em on FB and get a FREE gram. That's what they told me yesterday.
I pass by them all the time, but I'm happy with my caregiver so I never stop. Nice incentive but how are the meds.... Hmmmmm. I will find out! Be back.
I hear to hear when an MMJ shot gets shut down. I will have to say that the last time I visiting W Side Wellness the prices were sooooo high (no pun intended) that I never returned...
Still a blast to the MMJ community and the people W Side Wellness served.
I can tell you a few I'd like to shut down! Jus sayin....
..."But [the industry] could be a strong force if they could band together and do that."
I agree with Mary, we could be a strong force if we could band together- There are so many patients who are home bound, handicapped, elderly, or just plain unaware.
I don't believe that the average CO MMJ patient is aware of a lot of what's going on 'behind the scenes' . I mean most of us have a hard time just getting to doctor's appointments and going grocery shopping. There is a community within our community that is at or below poverty level.
May I refer to Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs- we need to reach that "other community", you know, the one that lives on next to nothing, struggling to make ends meet. Some of those people can't see past the pain or the stress of everyday living nevertheless staying up to date on all forever changing laws.
Everybody seems to be making money from the "industry"- which is fine, whatever, we all gotta pay the bills somehow. All I'm sayin' is that there is an untapped patient population that are not in the "industry" and would be happy to vote if they could get a ride....
As for me, I am a mere patient and though I live on a very limited income due to my disability I don't fall through the cracks because, well, simply put, I gotta big mouth!
Jus picked up some Wonder Woman- Smells sweet, like pink bubble gum, tastes really good too. Check out Levity's fb page and see over the pics of their meds!
