Nothing surprises me about the cozy relationships Bach, the Gazette, the Koch Bros., AFP have with each other. I'm happy there's an honest paper like the Independent to be our eyes and ears because we certainly won't get the truth from the rest of media in this city.

I hope Maketa enjoys his next career in politics, whatever that may be. I wouldn't vote for this man to be dog catcher. His statements are reckless, pointless and not based in fact, and his use of the office of sheriff to advance his career is revolting.

The Republicans seem to think that Democrats win because of money poured into campaigns. Yet they outspent Democrats (Karl Rove et al) in many races only to lose badly. The people know better than to believe they want to help America. I will be happy if the party of no, the party of racists, the party of no gun control, the anti women party, the anti immigration party, the anti middle class party, the anti environment party continues to lose elections. I am hoping they lose control of Congress so we can get to work and fix what needs to be fixed in this country. If you don't want to move forward, then please get out of the way.

This all about privatizating and monetizing CSU. Robo Steve and his crew are controlled by puppeteers like AFP and the Koch Bothers (actually, one in the same) who would love to cash in on the Drake power plant by either selling it to a large private utility, guaranteeing that our wonderfully low rates will skyrocket once a publicly traded corporation owns it, or by shutting it down and cashing in on all that valuable land. Follow the money!
