Re: “School reverses course: Student told to stay home after using MMJ

My son who wants his education is being denied that right when it comes to his medication. I have watch how his other prescition medication has put him in the hospital for weeks at a time without answers on how much is too much to give him. He was so high on valuim and morphine at times he did not even know where he was. His repected Dr's came up with a solution we were scared to use just like a lot of people who don't truely understand the healing powers of cannibs. Four months since the suggetion of medical marijuana we tried it with him. It's amazing he funtions after having a attack not passed out for hours because of "Traditional Medicines" like valium or morphine. I can't even say traditional since this is such a rare disease. Now after a year he can go back to public school. Excpet for the fact that now he can't return to school if he is undre the influence of a prescibed medical marijuana that is legal with a presciption. Today he was under the influence of vicoden at school. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE? ALOT! His vicoden screws his head up worse than medical marijuana. The medical marijuana my son takes gives him a body high NOT a head high. Vicoden gives him a head and body high. People need to be EDUCATED EDUCATED EDUCATED. What happened to no child left behind. Mine sure seems to be.

Re: “School reverses course: Student told to stay home after using MMJ

Please let my child have a "NORMAL" life. No child left behind, doesn't work in this case he is in a catch 22 if I ever saw one. If having an attack, he has to leave school to take the only medicine that works without disroying his liver and kidneys. He is coherent unlike the other prescrition med's he's been on, but can't go back to school because they say he's high. EDUCATE PLEASE EDUCATE
