Re: “District 3: Mike or Lisa?”

We need Mike Merrifield for a different perspective on City Council and as a true representative of the West Side. Merrifield brings a great deal of experience to the table, as a teacher, a Manitou Springs city councilor, and a state representative. He knows this area well and has always served its interests with distinction.

By contrast, I believe Lisa Czelatdko would simply be a rubber stamp for the right-wing forces that already dominate Colorado Springs. She lacks both experience and knowledge of this area. The fact that she doesn't recognize the importance of parks and open spaces says it all.
