Great article! The differences that OPb&j noticed between Groupon and Living Social were interesting.

The future of the daily deal market will be interesting to watch. I have personally tried many new, locally-owned places that I might not have otherwise tried - and some of those are definitely places we would go back without a Groupon! My only hangup is that there are so many Groupon/group buying deals that when we eat out (not too often), we are *always* using one of those, so we don't have a need to go back to those other restaurants because there's always a new one to try.
