Re: “Colorado Balloon Classic

Downtown falls all over itself to host and promote the bike race - a two hour event - but can't commit to really support the three day Classic.

Re: “Lance Armstrong is yelling at the Gazette

...but Lance and Indurain did more to popularize the Tour than any, ever. Lance was the best that ever rode. The sponsors, the Tour, the fans and the media got everything they ever wanted during Lance's record seven Tour wins. The purists were finally able to nail him - it took so long because he was out on the foreskin of sports chemistry technology and they couldn't catch him.

Re: “AFA superintendent talks religion

It must be Representative Lamborn himself writing this letter; his staff would have a better understanding of the military and its relationship to the Constitution.

Re: “Neighborhood dissociation

What a great story. It is the best argument for dumping HOAs I have ever seen. HOAs are useless, toothless, worthless entities that prey on the home owners in many areas of Colorado Springs without providing any tangible benefits to the owners. Homeowners are intimidated into buying into HOAs by the developers with the tacit approval of the City to keep down the cost of subdivision development and subsequent maintenance. HOAs should be allowed to wither away and die.
