"Let go" at 50, I'm having a heck of a time here. And I have letters of recommendation & excellent references. Sucks! Almost out of time......
Some of the ones that are fortunate to have this help should learn better how to use them. I am unemployed since July, raising my small grandson, and receive 0 assistance for anything. I go to Walmart, counting every penny to be sure I have enough $$$, only to have someone in front of me (almost every trip, it seems) that has their cart piled high with crap - soda, steaks, chips, candy, etc. The same ones that can't make it last hit the foods banks. I don't deny that there are people that truly need help for a LITTLE WHILE, but to stay on it for long periods of time, lie or conceal to get it, or etc. (we all know the stories and probably know examples like I do), is getting tiresome . I've worked since age 13 and never gotten a hand out. My taxes pay for this.
Re: “Senior housing's youth problem”
Can anyone tell me about Fountain Gardens? I am thinking of moving there. Thank you.
