a bit of an unfair shot at Mr. Stanec...as he clearly stated in the letter this leave was in the works since February - long before the Carrier controversy. If you asked anyone in D-11 you would find that Mr. Stanec is widely respected and among the finest principals in the district. Additionally - knowing the district I highly doubt that he was granted a paid leave. As Mr. Stanec stated - this decision was a family decision - so the district would prevent a family from making educational choices???

Finally, you talked with only ONE Mann parent? Come on Indy...I expect far better reporting than this...if I wanted lazy reporting I'd read the Gossip!
