Ironically, no one complained much about "getting the federal government out of my life" during the Waldo Canyon Fire. The irony is that many of the "outsiders" actually fighting the fire are probably Democrats (according to Rush Limbaugh almost all the medically uninsured people in this country are Democrats) and the homes they saved belonged mostly to "no more taxes" Republicans or Teabaggers. This country works best when people realized we are all in the same boat. I'm sure there will be waco conservative criticism of Forestry polices before the fire so here's mine:
The fire is partly the result of extreme weather cycles and the ongoing conservative rejection of Global Warming. I blame Reagan and Bush (SR and junior) and the excessive amounts of hot air coming from the US House of Reprehensibles.
