Totally missed the point Mr K.
Our country was founded on Christian principles. Don't confuse that with the subterfuge of church states and state churches and please, please don't confuse mormon with Christianity. The point being, as with the current state forcing church funded hospitals to pay for murder (abortion) this is a direct violation of the amendment's precepts. Enforcing the law is a requirement that we trust the state to do, no matter if the law being broken involves the church or not. The Book tells us to respect those and follow those and pray for those who govern us. We chose them, we support them.
Next they'll be telling us we can only have church on Sundays because Christians are making too much noise to the Lord.
I am out of this discussion - it's now turning into vain babbling.
I find it hilarious that somebody named CHRISTensen hates Jesus the Christ.
It does NOT violate separation of church and state as the misinform Oneida states.
That amendment is to keep the STATE out of the CHURCH... NOT to keep the CHURCH out of the STATE. We, Americans, have completely distorted the very foundation this country was built upon.
My job, as a Christian, IS to incite, aggravate and bother EVERY SINGLE ANTI-CHRIST, attitude, religion, person, attorney.... "think not that I've come to bring peace..." Read it for yourself. If you hate Christ that much - enjoy the eternity that you've prepared for YOURSELF. I love you!!
