Re: “Climate change: Deal with it

Marijana collective, city wide. Get paid in solar panels. Get visitor to pay for it by buying cheap weed, the cheapest in the world! Have several festivals to get the tourists here. People would like a town to go green, and would patronize it, but only if we get the jerk out of District 15. He represents us, and makes the city look evil.

Re: “Balloons will launch, gas rate cut expected, needy could be drug-tested, and more

Our town with an airport is missing out on BILLIONS of dollars in revenue . But I would like to see a socialist solution for the pot of gold, that is legal marijuana. How about everybody is required to grow 16 plants, outside, where plants belong, to be surrendered to the city. The city gives jobs prepping the organic matter to be sold at the CITY AUD for what ever the world price is, ( Denver average, Washington , Oregon , or DC) we sell it for half, to be sold in increments of twenty dollars a bag. At the same time, Jack up the gas tax to 10cents per gallon to be sunsetted when the roads get fixed. In order to purchase the cheap pot, visitors need to buy it from the central location that is the CITY aud? only buy it in $20 increments, so naughty people from out of sate cannot buy it up all at once. Also, host world class acts at the auditorium , three shows a day, so the visitors have something else to spend their money on when they are in line . The visitors will pay for the gas tax, which will pay for the roads. Our reward for growing and surrendering 16 plants will be a solar panel system, to be installed immediately on all customers of CSU. If customer lives in apartment, then a solar collective will pass on the savings to the CSU customers who grew the weed. When they leave town, the solar panels get surrendered to the city. Then we will make our emissions goals for the coal plant, due to less use of the facility. Having solar panels will create jobs in installation, maintenance , re wiring your house, and of course the best benefit will be cheaper electricity, cleaner air, and visitors paying for our streets! All can be done in two years time. Oh yeah, if you don't wish to grow, assign the task to someone on the books who needs a job at the colorado Coloradoworkforce. It would be nice to clear the books, and give everyone hospitality jobs too! It has to be done this year, or will loose the novelty. I am sure the alcoholic community would like to see their bars filled too. It is so depressing to go to these restaurants, and see them be mostly empty on most nights. The hospitality industry could sure use a boost! So if we host the world , for two years, we could get their revenue to pay for our solar panels. We could call it HELP GREEN COLORADO SPRINGS! If everybody planted their seeds in May, and have the visitors start showing up in October, when it is harvest time, by next year we should have all our roads paid for by visitors, and locals who buy gas. Locals will be saving thousands on utility bills over the course of twenty years, so everybody should be on board.

Road raging roads of a broken Colorado Springs . Time to dismiss all members of city council if they cannot understand how to budget for potholes. Hey ,guess what? It snows in the winter, and they're surprised there are potholes when they do nothing? Hahaha next winter there will also be potholes. They need to get fixed every year , or we will be paying more for broken axles, and loose struts and shocks. Is it mayor Bach's own way of an income stimulator? Perhaps people should not purchase new cars until the roads are fixed. Boycott motor city until the roads get fixed annually?

Re: “Changes to bus routes coming in spring

I would like to see event days, such as Emily Crawford coffin races, with more buses to assist with parking and riding. Also, if the winter light festival parade could have had bus service , more of us could have attended, or stayed downtown longer.

Re: “What will replace the Balloon Classic?

I hope it is fun, free, and invites the entire world to come and spend money here! How about a free Garth brooks concert in the park?
