It is sad and unfortunate that we must even have such an article. The problem is no one will step up to the plate and take action for what is happening in the southeast side of Colorado Springs. District 2 is changing for the worst, businesses are closing up, and the crime rate is at an all time high. Lets have some new blood , fresh faces, young people for a change to be the change. It amazes me that we get opinions from the same black folk all the time for these types of articles. Robert Andrews is a doer not a follower. I graduated from Sierra High School, we had thriving businesses as youth, in our community. It just saddens me that as soon as we try to make a change in our neighborhood, eyebrows are raised.
