I'm curious as to why Deborah Hendricks the president of Harrison School Districts Board of Education hasn't been suggested as a potential candidate she is absolutely amazing and I believe her husband is a local business owner as well. There are plenty of talented and eligible candidates in this particular community.

Re: “Downtown food moves along; Gazette gets it wrong”
I absolutely love the innovation! Food trucks have proven to be a successful model that allows foodie entrepreneurs to test the market for their delicious eats without the significant overhead and investment in a brick and mortar building. Infrastructures like these are a win-win for everyone. The entrepreneurs get to test the markets and because of the "fast-food" like nature of the business, these clients aren't competitive with the other brick and mortar folks. If anything, I would think that they would drive traffic to those other locations just because of the increase in traffic. Congratulations to Sandy Vanderstoep for taking on this brave new challenge :-) I can't wait!
