Rico, in what way is this pure propaganda? Because it doesn't cast Mormonism in the typical negative light that we've come to expect in such a city as Colorado Springs, brimming with Evangelicals?
As a member of the LDS Church, I feel it's time - past time - to begin a new chapter in American/religious history where my religion is no longer defined by those outside of my faith. I love Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Redeemer. No matter how many times I'm called a non-Christian by Evangelicals, my fundamental and core belief in Christ as the central figure of my life will not change.
No, I don't believe in the "traditional Christ" of today's Christian world. I believe in a living Christ who reveals Himself today to me, to a living Prophet, and through the word of God, not just found only in the Bible. Much of the faith of the "Christian" world today flounders in hypocracy and lack of devotion. The LDS Church stands out brightly in contrast with members giving all they have to their faith in God and to serve His Son Jesus Christ.
At some point semantics don't do the discussion justice. "Christian" or not, Latter-day Saints are devoted to the Jesus Christ that was born in Israel 2000 years as their Redeemer and Son of God.
