Cameras downtown? Are you kidding me?! This city just doesn't get it. One thing the cameras will be good for: recording the taping up of "going out of business" signs that will be going up in merchant's windows.

Let's see, shopping downtown vs. internet/Powers corridor/mall; Downtown: aggressive panhandlers, oppressive police force, high prices & taxes, parking tickets, traffic, etc, etc, and now your every move recorded on video! Online/other shopping areas: virtually unlimited selection, no tax online (often with free shipping), can shop online naked if you want, and no cameras in your home (at least not yet!) Adios, downtown! You've dug your own grave on this one.
