Being seated right behind the El Paso County delegation, I can testify that there were at least 150 vacant seats- the entire assembly- in the El Paso County seating area. These seats were never filled, not even during the voting. We took notice of this because we thought that some of El Paso's delegation must have been staging a protest due to some type of activity the night before, and we wondered what had happened that was so bad. As such, it makes no sense to me why the entire El Paso alternate delegation was not seated- even with the so-called late credentialing of delegates.
