I'd delete my comment if I could. I see now the 60/20/20 split and that open space acquisition wouldn't lessen.
I very much respect Mr. Skorman's opinion, but I'm curious about the open space part of this that seems to be left out of the discussion. Why not use that money sitting there to buy open space... and let it sit. Minimal if any maintenance. A green belt, nay patchwork quilt of green. We're sprawling, and all the open fields are disappearing. Buy up plots before they're paved.
As is, seems the only option being discussed are traditional parks that need a lot of resources.
I completely enjoyed the conversations I was privileged to have with him in these last couple years. While they may have been fairly brief, they left something with me, and I'm thankful to have met him.
