To Smartestman: I know the Blaha family well, having lived in the Springs my whole life, and some of them are still rather young (considering my age :)). Anywho-I would hope that just because someone contributes to a financial campaign that it does not make them "part of the game." That suggestion seems to have terrifying implications. So, if I donate money to local campaigns (which I have), it makes me part of the game? I would hope that we, the private citizens, would be allowed to maintain our own privacy! I do not understand how donating my money makes me a public figure and therefore subject to becoming part of a politician’s political discourse?
