Re: “Collateral damage

Thank you, CSIndy, for following up on this information. Good job. Nice to see some balls in the reporting community since there aren't any up here or in the Springs tv community.

Another story for you:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 6, 2012
Teller County Mail Ballots Missing Signature Line
Clerk deploying contingency plan with remedy
Cripple Creek, Colorado – Many Teller County voters received their mail ballots yesterday only to find
that the return envelope lacked a signature line. Election judges compare voter signatures with the state’s
voter rolls to verify voter identity.
“This was an oversight and my office will immediately mail a follow-up communication to these voters
correcting the issue,” Teller County Clerk and Recorder J.J. Jamison said. “We want everyone that
wants to participate in this primary to vote and have their vote counted accurately.”
After learning of the deficiency, Jamison contacted the Secretary of State’s office and devised a
contingency plan. About 4,100 affiliated voters—those that are currently on the county’s permanent
mail list—received their ballots on Tuesday. The rest of the county’s primary voters, who are
unaffected, will cast their ballots at vote centers located throughout the county.
On Wednesday, Jamison’s office sent a subsequent letter to mail-ballot voters informing them of the
issue and asking them to affix stickers—which include an affirmation and signature line—to their ballot
return envelopes. The stickers were included in the mailing sent out Wednesday.
For voters who already returned their mail ballots, Jamison’s office will contact them to sign their ballot
envelope. By law, voters must return their ballots by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, but they still have an
extra eight days after the election to sign their mail ballot envelopes.
For now, Teller County mail voters are asked to wait for the mailing to include the affirmation and
signature line on their mail ballot return envelope. For more election information including a list of the
county’s early voting and vote centers locations, residents can visit Teller County’s web site at

This is same Clerk and Recorder who is trying to suppress the recall Ensminger as sheriff campaign in Teller. Howso you ask? By hiring the IA TCSO officer's wife Sheryl Lewis who might well be responsible for this screw up and allowing pillow talk of any voter who signs a recall petition. Then the voters will be set up for continuous harrassment. If you don't think this is possible or probable, check out the 19 bankrobbery "arrests" for two hours each in Aurora, another NEK stomping ground. You wonder why Teller residents are in fear of their lives while Dan May, the CBI, and FBI do nothing? You wonder why AG Suthers does nothing about POST cheating state wide?

And furhtermore, to the supporter of military training that posted above, military training ops next to a RESIDENTIAL AREA IN EXTREME FIRE DANGER? EXPLOSIONS IN EXTREME FIRE DANGER? Hope you lived there and were scared peeless about your place burning up. Let the military training go on at Fort Carson where they regularly set off fires.
