Yo, Matt. Mahalo for this, man. Really. It's a gift. At least, it is to me. I've been tortured--then and since #AAN2012--because I didn't have so much as a camera phone to capture memories with. (One Detroiter spotted my Mesozoic flip phone and asked me if I "got it at a museum.") You really captures the texture and colorful longing of this being-reborn city. Detroit inspired me in ways that will resonate for a lifetime--and hopefully translate into my own community. Anyhoo, mahalo again. My crystal ball says I'll happily reminisce with your fine images for many moons to come.
