Re: “The Rockey Road to Art”

I just had the honor of meeting Rockey in his Manitou studio last week. We were there the day the fire broke out and I worry that he is safe! But I feel very blessed to have had the chance to chat with him. What a special man he is. He told me he has been working on his book of love stories. He has not painted in 10 years, says it's too hard to write and paint. But he explained the importance for today's kids to have more love stories in their lives. He worries how fast moving everything is and wants people to appreciate the little things more and to slow down. I left my address to be notified when the book is ready. I can't wait to hear his stories!!
