Re: “Best word for Paterno and family? Arrogance

Okay, so now the "Paterno" Biography is being leaked by GQ.

And what a read it is.

So, it turns out, when Paterno was fired, he assembled his coaching staff at his home and cried uncontrollably. I LOVE THAT!

But, why is Joe crying you ask? Is it for the children that Sandusky raped on Penn State Football facilities? NOPE.

He is crying because---"he doesn't know what he is going to do with himself".

Narcissistic much, Joe? His longtime assistant coach is indicted on child rape charges, and Joe is crying because he doesn't know what he is going to do.

That description of events is the perfect outline for the type of guy Paterno was. An egomaniac whose sole goal was to preserve his interests, and not those of any child Sandusky harmed.

The North Koreans have nothing on Penn State fans. I'm expecting a mandatory mourning holiday to coincide with freshmen orientation every fall---where PSU students are mandated to cry openly for their dead leader.

Re: “Best word for Paterno and family? Arrogance

Watching these Penn State fans become completely unglued is priceless.

I'd imagine it's hard for them to come to terms with Paterno hiding a pedophile for more than a decade.

I'd wish they demonstrated as much outrage for Sandusky's victims as they are for their dead and rotting head coach and his merry band of misfits.

By the way, can Paterno hear "We ARE" down in hell? Or do the flames muffle it out?

Re: “Best word for Paterno and family? Arrogance

Is it really shocking that all the Penn State lunatics are responding?

"The errors in the Freeh report...BLAH BLAH BLAH".

We shouldn't expect more from Penn State fans. They enabled Paterno and his culture as much as Paterno enabled Sandusky.

I'm just glad they got to witness the destuction of their demi-god, and watching the statue being carted off to the garbage bin was a glorious thing.
