Re: “Meet the man who shot Garden of the Gods

He and many other people are lucky he wasn't out there an hour later when runners started waking up for the day, or someone in the surrounding community was taking out there dog. I'm also surprised that people are more upset that he was shooting at one of our greatest and magnificent land marks!!!!

Re: “How (not) to hit Colorado College kids with your car

Its the law of the road that motorists are suppose to stop when someone is in a crosswalk . I live downtown and frequently drive through the CC campus and have never had a problem with CC students at their crosswalks. I know that the people of this city believe that they are above law and order, but that sounds more like a personal problem rather than one for CC or CONO.

Re: “Local businessman tries to increase the heat on Tim Leigh

Since you both seem to have so many questions about the NSG contract and technology, I suggest you read these articles by the Colorado Springs Business Journal. They are very informative.

Re: “Tim Leigh and the 52 percenters

Why would anyone watch the State of the Union speech when you can just read the transcript online the next morning? Saves a lot of time and you don't have to listen to the annoying ovations.

Re: “Letters: Obama's ideas, gun violence and fracking

Renewable energy would be able to "stand on its own financially" if we gave it the same incentives and subsidies that were given to (and are still given to) fossil fuel technology when it was still in the developmental phases.

Re: “City panel will investigate Tim Leigh

First Tejon Tech, it is spelled Neumann, not Nuemann.

Second, the NSG scrubber technology is new to the field and is under patent. How would CSU be able to competitively bid this one if there is no other company offering the same product? Also, I'm not sure where you are getting the information about other prices that people have said they could do the project for, Tim Leigh? He can't even back up his sources on that one.

Re: “Lamborn votes against support for Sandy victims

This man is an embarrassment to his state and district.
