I am disappointed that the PPLFF is defunct after 12 years. It was an event I looked forward to every year (even after moving from C.S. to Alamosa), and I can't count the number of times I've recommended the films to friends and family. The festival was a great starting point for discovering new films and filmmakers. It was truly a touchstone for LGBTQ culture in Colorado. If I had the funds, I would love to take the reins!
