Gloria is my sister and though I may not agree with her politics, she does bring a lot of intelligence and knowledge to the table. She works exaustingly for justice in regards to the poor and disinfranchised. Yes, she has controversial views on The United States role in world politics. However, I hope that her visit and presentation also brings a civil discourse in opposing views and exchange of ideas (that is in fact, democracy) which opens up the ability to understanding each other as flesh and blood human beings.
