Well here it is the last day of 2012 and they STILL haven't reopened. Let me say I loved 15c and I would honestly drive from Denver to drink there if they did reopen.
To add to Rodneys comment:
Fact: In 2010, 211 children were killed in drunk driving crashes. Out of those 211 deaths, 131 (62 percent) were riding with the drunk driver http://www-nrd.nhtsa.dot.gov/Pubs/811606.p…
Where is the outrage for this? this is over 10 TIMES that many killed in this horrific shooting and yet where is the anger and disgust? You people that ignore these things are in my opinion "fair weather hippocrits" and jump on the bandwagon when something horrible happens yet turn a blind eye to the horrible things happening to kids every day.
I propose another time of Prohibition... what could possibly go wrong or bad come of that Govt failure again?
To Sharlene: There are over 100 million kids that play violent games EVERY DAY around the world. The instances of these kids killing people isn't even enough to track, I'd bet its not even a fraction of a fraction of a percent. How about the people that are drunk that kill people or that kill people after eating fast food? Lets ban alcohol and McDonalds..they lead to murder! A gun is an inanimate object but in your mindset lets outlaw cars and forks. Cars lead to DUI's and 115 people die a DAY in car accidents. Forks lead to obesity and on and on and on. You need to realize that guns are what keep us safe and if the US didn't have such a large amount of them in private hands that we would not be where we are today with our freedoms. Our 2nd Amendment is about more then the right to own guns its the right to protect ourselves from harm and from a govt that will do us harm. If everyone knew that most people were armed would they ever go into a public place to do these violent acts? Those that would wouldn't get more then a few shots off before they were killed and a lot of lives would be saved.
