Re: “The face of revenge porn

Looks like the comment blocking spam has been deleted, or at least some of it has. I think the two of them have had enough of us, I told ya they would get bored.

In other news, has anyone noticed that the blog of one of them is written in 3rd person, yet switches to first person whenever they get angry? They want to appear as though they have fans that write about them but can't find anyone. Almost tragic.

@Chris Recouvreur: There's too many Chris's here, how will we know which one of us they are insulting? Was your mum posted? I know mine wasn't.

And now for everyone's fave president: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHska5QJPIc

Re: “The face of revenge porn

Has anybody noticed that there is a report button on the bottom of the comments? And that one of the options is spam? Pretty sure that the comment blocking comments from tweedle-dum and tweedle-dee count as link spam by anyone's estimations. Just sayin'

Asking for proof from either of those two is like asking the squirrels to find you gold. All you'll get is a lot of chattering before they go home and play with their nuts.

And don't worry guys, I'm pretty sure that tweets are legal evidence. Pretty sure their have been a few cases re: damaging / offensive tweets.

Again guys, don't engage with these two. Talk around them. That's what they're afraid of.

Re: “The face of revenge porn

Once again, we see the fact that they cannot take criticism. The internet equivalent of going "LALALALALALALA" whilst sticking the fingers in the ears. I know they won't read this, wont reflect on anything we say, so this post goes out to you folks out there who are reading this: Stop engaging with them. Stop showing the (many) flaws in their arguments. Stop referring to them by name. This is the only way to deal with these stropping children.

Don't stop trying to warn the world about their kind though! Don't stop your wonderful research that can assist Marc! Don't stop believing that scum like this will be taken down.

Re: “The face of revenge porn

Craig, Can I just inform you of the Penquin or Panda update from Google which effectively means that the link spam that your comments are producing will actually get you delisted from Google.

The anti - streisand effect - The more you want attention, the less you get.

Notice again the blame gets shifted away. "If employers search for me, they would find this" - Acknowledging that the site is horrible and thus creating a catch 22 of blaming others. "I had to do this cos I cant get a job!" "I can't get a job because the site"

There's plenty more of the "They world owes me a living" in their posts, a mentality that I fell into at one point when I was unemployed. But I dragged myself out of it. I went for job interviews for jobs I didn't want, I did the research, I talked to friends, family, strangers, advisers. I looked at why I wasn't getting jobs, asked for feedback and highlighted my weaknesses (My lack of experience was the big one) then set about how I could prove to employers that I was working on overcoming my weaknesses (Volunteering at offices, taking advanced training.) I'm now working in a company that has one of the best balance sheets in the world.

But when you're ego is this huge and you refuse to find any weakness in yourself, you become trapped in the pit of joblessness. Craig is in this pit. Yes, there may be a job shortage, but Craig hasn't got the job that he thinks he deserves because he doesn't deserve it. The job should go to someone who is willing to make improvements to themselves, to make lemonade out of lemons, to realize that only one person can truly help them: Themselves.

Tl;dr version: A thief may get want they want, but they wont deserve it. A beggar would deserve it. And I'd help a beggar everytime!

Re: “The face of revenge porn

@ Damian Burford: You are indeed correct. There is nothing we can say that will discourage these idiots. The human ego will reject any criticism with rejection and in the case of these two, the ego is so huge (undeservedly so) that they will reject everything, no matter how factually correct, logic based, moral guiding the comment might be. There will always be cries of "that's fake", "It's not my fault", "God told me to do it", "The interview was biased!", "You're bullying me" etc.

But unfortunately, this whole entire market is based around bullying, about how "it's not fair that my gf dumped me just because she caught me sleeping with her sister" or "I cant believe we broke up because we were becoming distant." Always an "it's not my fault!"

IAD is just another case of someone who cant get a gf and deciding the problem isnt him, its ALL women. After all, if only they could see past his bravado, his smugness, his attitude, his poor morals, THEN they'd be happy with him.

And Adam: I'm talking to you! :) I like your blog. Been a fan since the CC days. One of the few sites I can access at work during a calculation break, so thank you!

Re: “The face of revenge porn

How does Adam make a profit? His site has no ads, he has no clients, Where is this profit?

Secondly, he isn't in the same "business" as you. The New York Times might sell a few more compies by crisising Wal-Mart and use their logo as a picture, that doesn't mean that they need to ask for their permission to use it. Yes, they might make profit out of it, yes people might use another store, but the customers havent gone to the new york times instead of walmart.

(I'm british so the names were the first US examples I could think of)
