Just wanted to suggest to anyone who may be upset over the BSA's policy of exclusion to investigate some alternative scouting programs in the U.S., of which I am the representative of one, the Baden-Powell Service Association. We offer a traditional scouting program with its focus being on outdoor skills and community service, with open and inclusive membership policies that disallow any and all discrimination. We're co-ed, too, and even offer a program for adults: Rover Scouts. Please check us out online at BPSA (dot) org to find out more and start a scouting group in your area! Inclusive scouting can happen, with or without the Boy Scouts of America.
Re: “The fight for equality in the Boy Scouts is an old one — as shown through the film Scout's Honor”
Sorry, that URL should be BPSA-US (dot) org.
