Let's just see how this plays out. My guess is that it's once again, over played and over dramatized.
Ironically enough, Mikey linked and endorsed about.com as reputable and well-known. Well, dig a little deeper and see what about.com has to say about homosexuality and kleptomaniacs. BOOM! Mikey did the same thing. You can't make this stuff up. So using the same logic, everyone should come down hard on Mikey as well.
Move along now folks, nothing to see here. (as usual)

When I click on the NOTAM link, it goes directly to the holiday, nothing is anti-gay about the link. One has to go to other links on the website to find that info.
I think we've all been offended by different things at different times. If I'm offended at what I read, I move on. If something is so grave of a concern, I go to the source. That could have been done in this case.
We will have to agree to disagree on this one.

BL, I guess we'll have to wait and see what the Rabbi has to say. I think it's best to get his response before making judgements.
I'm not sure why you think that site is narrowminded and poor. What is on the site that goes against the Jewish faith?

My point is that there is more to the story here and it's best to take a deep breath, do some research and base your opinion on facts instead of rumor.
Most are making assumptions on this specific NOTAM which simply aren't true.
Why didn't the person complaining or Mikey simply go directly to the source for clarification? Give the person responsible for the NOTAM the benefit of the doubt. Just common sense...

BL...should be interesting to see how this all pans out.
The issue isn't legitimate, it's a joke. Just because a generic response was given doesn't give merit to the issue. If there really is an issue, I'm sure Mikey will file a lawsuit and maybe, must maybe he might win his first one against the Air Force. LMAO! When Mikey wins his first one, I'll be the first one to give you credit.
p.s. Mikey's demands to take the link down by last Thursday weren't met. I still haven't seen any action taken that Mikey promised. Hmmmmmm Then again, I'm sure money is flowing into MRFF as he continues to stir an empty pot. Got to love a non-profit led by a person who is the recipient of over half of the non-profit's funds. Some non-profit!
