Open the lines of communication Bach! Our city needs to all be on the same page and focussed on the good of the community! We are starting to look like clowns to other cities. And this lack of communication attracts businesses / jobs to Colorado Springs how? Very disappointed.
I am surprised that you all don't see that no matter what type of "peace offering" was being given, it is the intent that should be appreciated, not what religious or ethnic preference the person has. King is showing good intent. The mayor should applaud the act but he feels too threatened by King.
Who on earth is being polled? Don't people know that Mayor Bach will manage to raise Utility rates 40-50% if he gets his way? Pay attention to what is going on. He says he wants to bring 6000 jobs? Well we just LOST 6000 jobs and will continue to lose jobs if the City Council bickering, indecision, and down right lack of respect continues. I mean, who supports signing a major contract with an exciting emerging proven technology and then plans to "back out of the deal" to tear down Drake to make a baseball stadium? Seriously!? This is unprofessional and would turn any business away from this beautiful city.
Everything was fine until Mayor Bach and Tim Leigh stepped into it.
Keep up the good work CSU EAG! CSU desperately needed a voice and you all have stepped up and made wise choices in the candidates you have endorsed. I personally am going to vote for all of your endorsed candidates to ensure that Colorado Springs continues to be the owners of our own utility (we don't want a private company with investors needing their 39% profit margins) and so that we keep our utility rates lower than most in the nation. Why change something that is not broken!?
Nice summary! Good to know.
It's about time someone is letting the public know about the Mayor's hidden agenda.
