Clearly a conflict of interest to represent two distinct entities that do not agree. Utilities may be owned by the city but it operates like a business with a distinctly separate budget, CEO and mission. When was the last time politicians ran their cities/states/country with the efficiency of a business? Mayor Bach clearly has an agenda and selling our cities most valuable asset is his way of achieving the finances to make it happen. If he succeeds we will all see our rates increase when Xcel takes over.
