You needed a "supposedly" in front of Qin Shi Huang as well. His "search for immortality" is an unverified, and I suspect malicious fabrication about the world's greatest peacemaker and nation builder. He was discredited by his political successors, and my guess is that is one of the several dozen bits of nonsense that were attached to his alleged "history."
