Re: “UPDATE: Colorado Springs will pull out of regional ambulance program

Maybe if your self proclaimed "hard working" group actually talked to the not so motivated or burned out majority, this would not be happening. Think about it with just a hint of honesty. Letting FD do everything on scene while you either don't carry in your bags or any gear, stand off in the back of the room, dodge picking up the cot that you are paid to do, come into scenes without BSI on or even supposed to be in the hot zone for, this list could be a mile long. This is something that has long been needed. The mayor has nothing to do with it SILENT DOGOOD. This has been on the table for years. Your company charging for the skills that FD medics did or other procedures without being compensated is probably a reason this is happening. Your claim of 200 jobs gone, is wrong. Where is the FD going to grab more medics from? Your company! Now granted not all of them will work for FD, but most will. My guess is the keester kissing will start now for who will get hired. Remember that you reap what you sow. This system was broken long ago, now its about time it gets fixed, and fixed with the best people to do the job. Good luck
