More than a year ago, the Ute Chief spring was somehow shut off. I had witnessed several folks from out of state that traveled all that way to get this water, which they claimed cured maladies that had been incurable. I had approached the Manatou operatives several times to ask why the spring was not functioning, and consistently got the runaround. Allegedly a pump(?) needed to be replaced. I have never heard of a spring that needed a pump, but I am not a licensed hydrologist.
It being the only spring that is naturally effervescent, and apparently has some secret healing properties, again, I ask why, this magnificent spring with a beautiful sculpture included is not functioning?
Perhaps the power of the press can get some answers??
Liegh should have recused himself from any discussions due to the obvious conflict of interest. If exonerated, the accuser should pay all legal bills incurred.
