I agree! The Mathis family is very loving, accepting and supporting. I commend them for not only accepting Coy for who she is but also sticking up for what's right. Coy deserves to be treated as an equal among her fellow students, not suppressed just because of a rare difference that doesn't harm anybody else.
I've been in contact with Kathryn, myself (on facebook), and I've told her of my own gender issues and how Coy's story has been an inspiration for me. She's very understanding, and I'm happy to have her as a facebook friend. :)
