Re: “MMJ testing is no science

Dude if you knew what the f**k you are talking about you wouldn't make your hidden implications of testing mmj as you did; And I daresay you are not qualified to do that as well. Look up gas chromatography and liquid chromatography as well. After you get your Phd, then you can make uneducated statements like you have. I am a weed tester and I have thousands and thousands of dollars invested in it. We call it a science not magic Dorothy.
My goal is to provide free testing for valid medicinal patients. Go back to school fool!

Re: “Millions will be at stake when Council makes its marijuana decision

The MMED just lost Laura Harris as Director and thats one less Medical Marijuana Emforcement enforcment officer and I believe we are down to less than six for the whole state! Denver anticipated revenue from the mmj industry and the MMED was in the red this year and the seed to sale regulation was not made workable as promised, A64 will prove bust or boom Denver - I advised to wait and see the results from them before we approach it here in the Springs. Lets see the first school built and maybe they'll be writing on hemp paper and reading hemp books. They won't smoke it! it is bred to have no THC in it.
I think the mandatory testing and labeling of MMJ should be made a requirement as that is the only thing beneficial A64 has to offer other than an illusionary revenue that is as unpredictable as the people in the business!

Re: “Colorado Springs unveils a tourism proposal full of striking numbers and nagging questions

maybe we can make a river -walk and force the homeless to go somewhere else. As a tourist and a resident it saddens me to see these people everywhere I turn. Some of these people need medical help as evidenced by them roughing our winters out here. I'd go where it is at least warm; Florida, Mexico, Arizona perhaps?
Clean the homeless problem up first Colorado Springs! Then you will gain more support from the community. Maybe the guy who values his land at 3 times the appraisal value will fund a homeless center with the proceeds - who knows ?maybe an outreach department would help as well. The homeless in Colorado Springs are the black eyes of Colorado Springs...

Re: “Colorado Springs City Council likely to ban or wait on recreational marijuana

Medical Marijuana is alive and well in the Springs. See the Doctor and get a red card; even though you can stand on A20 and get acquitted; it is cheaper to follow the red card rules rules and let Denver have the A64 mess as we watch from an "informed and educated" electorate;represented accordingly and respectfully by the city council. Job well done.
Just dont carry the card around as a trophy or reason for a possible thcdui probable cause..
Look the Mayor is OK with MMJ and so is the Chief. They know the laws and have stated their mmj only positions in the past.
We have the highest number of dispensaries second only to Denver. I would venture to say that we have more dispensaries than liquor stores. That is why Denver interests want it passed - to out pace and undercut our existing locally owned and operated dispensaries.
Wake up Colorado Springs! Let Denver have it!
Let a sleeping dog lie!!
