Bach's plan is to build a downtown baseball stadium and events center, a downtown Olympic museum, a sports medicine performance center at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and a new Air Force Academy visitors center closer to Interstate 25.
We already have a baseball stadium and an events center (World Arena), we have the Olympic Center you can tour (maybe add a small museum there at the Olympics expense), a sports medicine performance center (what the heck is that and who would care or use it?) and if the USAFA wants a new visitor center, they should pay for it, not my city tax dollars. What the city needs is something new and different to draw new and repeat tourists. I know many people that don't want to come back here as they have been there, done that, i.e. Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, USAFA, Olympic Center. Look at all the attractions, museums, events, and things to do in Denver. Shouldn't we take a look at them and start offering our visitors something for their buck?
