For those going though this I cannot express how horrified I am that this woman chooses to treat her employees like this. Just an FYI. It is perfectly legal in Colorado to audio record conversations as long as one person (usually the one recording it) knows about it. I was involved in a work comp case with my former employer and recorded conversations with my supervisor and HR director. It was gold in my settlement case. So for the employees, if you can afford to buy a voice recorder or have a smart phone and can download a voice recorder app do so and have it on at all times while talking to your employer. It proves what was said and can benefit you. I made sure it was legal by calling the police station at their non emergency number. You have to be able to protect yourself in situations like these and the employer will say something that will help your case.
