Is anyone else sick of the attitude in this town that Mayor Bach is king and can do whatever he wants? Enough already. It hasnt worked for the past 50 years so try something else already.
Fire the City Attorney!
Why dont they just fire the guy already? He screwed up Memorial deal and he screwed up the no panhandling for downtown. Two strikes, he's out. So much money has been paid to other law firms anyways for consultations, why dont they just hire out for what they need and save the $200,000 he is getting paid.
A weasel, a wuss, a shrimp, a bully, and a contender. Another major screwup from the criminal City Attorney to screw Colorado Springs out of the money its invested into Memorial over decades. Word is COS is still going to get sued by PERA and the employees.
Mayor Bach cant work with anyone. Why should the City handle the bill when other municipalities want and need to help. What an ego maniac control freak. Really hope the County and Council continue working together and let the Mayor finish his important projects like watering the ugly poorly seeded medians built on Nevada Avenue. Cement plots to appease the sad groups downtown throwing tantrums for the Mayor's attention.
Didnt a Senator who didnt listen to the voters and got too big in his britches just get recalled? Why does everyone think its ok for the Mayor of Colorado Springs to have all the power? Good for City Council fighting back. They all got elected to look out for us, not to bend over for Bach. I heard The City Attorney was too liked at Colorado College. Too many old people in this town trying to run everything, and a small group of wanabees trying to follow in their footsteps. New and younger politicians please apply now.
