Sure, Klingenschmitt is entitled to his own views. But because he's an adult, he has to face the consequences of expressing those views. In other words: Yes, he has the right to speak his mind; no, he does *not* have the right to escape the impact of that speech on his political aspirations.
The real "news" here is the selection of a site and the announcement that the academy will being an environmental impact assessment next month. If the EIA goes through, then the Air Force Civil Engineer Center will craft the request for proposal.
So in terms of bids or private partners, that's still a year or two down the road, possibly longer depending on the complexity of the RFP.
Barry, is it a quality control issue if, as I fear, this guy's what the hiring official at the time actually *wanted*?
And who wants to bet that hiring official, who has since retired, now has a cushy gig at Focus on the Family?
As with anything else, you get the government you pay for. Schools are worth it. And taxing recreational marijuana? That's a no-brainer.
You'd think someone at the Prep School would have noticed that, all the years that poster's been there.
