American Classics Marketplace is part flea market and part museum. A fun place to browse and be reminded of the way things used to be, it also has plenty of opportunities for picking up a bargain-priced item to complete your home's decor. Turnover is quick though, so you'll need to make up your mind on most things right away.
My only complaint? It's a very large and maze-like facility - thus you'll never remember where you saw something unless you take notes.

The people standing on the medians on Powers Blvd are insane.
Who goes to a steakhouse to review a drink and dessert? Thanks for nothing.
What's wrong with this picture?
Don't plan on I-25 being widened anytime soon...
Welcome to the 1970's.
Since this is a 10 year agreement the city needs to be looking forward, not backwards, and the future is broadband access, not "cable TV". This agreement should bind Comcast to increasing broadband access and data rates across the city - not just in the snob zones. They should also be told to provide this service to schools and the local government at little or no cost.
Another problem is that it doesn't tie the franchise fee to future Comcast rate increases or to rates in other parts of the country. Internet costs in Colorado Springs are among the highest in the nation, for no other reason than lack of competition. That lack of competition needs to be offset by givebacks or offsets in this franchise agreement.
It will be a refreshing change to see business and military people in the cabinet instead of the usual political hacks and social activists - neither of whom ever held a real job or ran a business that actually needed to make money.
Pretty much no one has the courage to do the right thing when it concerns the presidential vote, i.e., withhold their vote because both candidates are unworthy.
I'm all for dedicated bike lanes - once bicyclists start paying their equivalent of gasoline tax and vehicle registration costs. $68 dollars a year for a bike registration and the same for gas tax should put them on equivalent footing.
