Silver Pond Chinese is awful. We recently went there with a large party and it took 2 1/1 hours to get our food. I wanted to walk out, but the others in my group hoped we would get served soon. Food came out slowly & sporadically and service was non existent. Soup was lukewarm at best, we had to take our own silverware from another empty table, we cleared our own table - and after waiting 20 minutes initially when we sat down, we helped ourselves to our own menus. At the end of the meal after being at the restaurant for over 3 hours, we spoke with the manager about our very unpleasant dining experience and asked for compensation. She was willing to take off the price of 2 appetizers from a $200 bill, which was almost nothing, an insult. Any other restaurant that values their customers would have made a greater effort to satisfy 3 families, rather than send them away unhappy. After much negotiation back & forth, she wound up taking $30 off the bill, which we felt was still not enough considering the terrible experience we had. We will not be back.
