@robert wagner- The truth is that there is scientific evidence of health risks especially related to the chemical herbicides that accompany the production of GMOS. While there is no conclusive evidence of direct human harm, neither is there proof that long term exposure is safe for humans. Labeling is a consumer rights issue. Organic certification is expensive and that cost is passed along to the consumer effectively pricing out low income people from that option. Don't you think that everyone has a right to information? Especially artificial(not occurring naturally) ingredients not tested for long term health effects?
