      <![CDATA[It's a shame that the category which garnered the most donations was "the environment" when Colorado is adding children to the poverty rolls faster than any other state in the US. According to Alliance for Sustainable Colorado (a very "green" org by the way), "Between 2000 and 2009 the number of children living in poverty in Colorado more than doubled, rising faster than any other state in the nation."
