Thank you Mr. Wrede for correcting the absurd disinformation coming from the corporatocracy, teabaggers and reichwingnuts on what a corporation is, what power it has, and most especially, what the founding fathers designed.

The heart of this anti-American Supreme Court decision is built on the FAKE 1913 decision (Santa Clara County vs. The Southern Pacific Railroad) that ALLEGEDLY gave corporations human rights.
Quite the opposite.

This sham was created solely by the former president of Newburgh and New York Railway, who was then working as the supreme court reporter and wrote the OPPOSITE of what the court decided when they said "The court does not wish to hear argument on the question whether the provision in the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution, which forbids a State to deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws, applies to these corporations."

He added on his own, "We are all of the opinion that it does", but they had said specifically that they were not even going to hear that argument. He ALONE wrote a opinion they said they wouldn't even entertain, and enemy corporatists have LIED since that it gives them the rights of a person.

"I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country."
-Thomas Jefferson, 1816

"By a declaration of rights, I mean one which shall stipulate freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of commerce AGAINST monopolies, trial by juries in all cases, NO suspensions of the habeas corpus, NO standing armies."
-Thomas Jefferson, 1788

Corporation: an ingenious device for obtaining individual profit without individual responsibility.
-Ambrose Bierce

"Slavery is the legal fiction that a Person is Property.
Corporate Personhood is the legal fiction that Property is a Person."
-Abraham Lincoln
To Harry, and anyone else who wants to watch a really good, scary movie about the nature and history of corporations, watch this one: www.thecorporation.com. I think Netflix has it, but you can watch it on youtube, too.
