Andrew has done a lot of good for the people of Colorado -- he's a hard-worker, he's energetic and intelligent, and oh-so-charismatic. Because he has had to run against the mainstream in this primary, he will not owe his position to anyone other than the voters of Colorado.

I am saddened when selfishness by politicians is rewarded and the larger interests of Coloradoans are made secondary.I believe that Andrew Romanoff has reinvented himself as a progressive and was a politics-as-usual guy when he was Speaker of the House. His candidacy is driven by petulance at not being appointed to Salazar's seat.

The Independent has made a wise choice in endorsing Andrew Romanoff for the U.S. Senate! Though many of us are dismayed at the failures in high places of our elected representatives to act in the best interests of working people, the answer is not in turning to such groups as the Tea Baggers, who have no real agenda, except to regain their lost power.

We need instead someone who has always dedicated his energies towards helping others, and so we need Andrew speaking for us on a national stage!!!
