One wonders if Mr Schaffner ever finds himself trapped in a burning building, or some such other predicament, will he get down on his knees or search for an exit along with the rest of us?

His comment overlooks the reality that his God treats him, in such a situation, no differently than the rest of us, however much he may hope otherwise.
