We do not believe that a vote to ban dispensaries should be a option. Our state officials did us a great disservice when they added the option to 1284.

Medical marijuana dispensaries aren't attracting crime in Colorado Springs, the second Colorado city where police have concluded that pot shops don't increase law breaking.

Colorado Springs police have yet to find a correlation between the city's 175 or so pot shops and increased crime. Denver police made a similar conclusion earlier this year.

In Colorado Springs, there have been 41 criminal incidents at medical marijuana dispensaries or growing operations over the last 18 months.
