Skorman gave up the atlarge council seat he has held for seven years to take a job as the regional director for Sen. Ken Salazar, D-Colo. He revealed his decision Monday.

Skorman’s exit became official about a year before he would have been forced from his position by term limits. As regional director for Salazar, he will advise the senator on a variety of topics.

Each council member bade goodbye to a man whose support of gay rights and environmental issues made him the council’s stand-out liberal voice.

People just do not change their ideology!
